Jim, I purchased this canoe cart shortly after I purchased my Osprey two years ago. It is an excellent product. Light, well built, and easy to take apart. Built from brushed marine grade anodized aluminum pipe (not thin tubing or plastic) then precision welded into a durable frame. No bolts to come loose on the trail. The Canoe Cart parts assemble quickly using two lynch pins each for the crossmembers and the wheels. The wheels feature sealed bearings for smooth travel. The Canoe Cart's innovative design allows you to disassemble it into five relatively small parts. This makes it much easier to stow in your canoe if you want to take it with you on your voyage. The rubber-cushioned cross-members cradle your canoe over a 20" length on both sides. A 1.5" wide nylon strap secures your Merrimack canoe to the Cart. $129.
